College Admissions and Financial Aid 101: 
What you need to know about the college admissions and financial aid process including:

How should you create a balanced college list?
What really happens in the admissions office?
How can your son or daughter's application strength influence a grant award?
What are the steps involved in applying for financial aid?
What role does financial aid play in the admissions process?
Will we get more financial aid from some colleges than others?
How can I improve my family's position for financial aid?
I make too much to get financial aid, what are other ways to reduce the cost of college?


Presenters:
Deena Maerowitz, founder of www.undergradadmit.com LLC. Deena is a former Associate Director of Admissions from Columbia Business School, a lawyer and a social worker. She has worked with families for over 15 years on the college admissions process.

Maura Griffin, founder of Blue Spark Financial,
Maura is a certified college planning specialist, is mom to a 17-year-old senior. She has her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her MBA from Columbia.
