Concordia Language Camp

My daughter attended Japanese language camp for two summers ... she learned a lot of Japanese -- both the language and the culture.  I highly recommend the program.

Concordia Language Villages
Language without limits: creating a world where everyone understands.
Concordia Language Villages is the premiere language and cultural immersion program in the United States. We are advocates for language learning and we take pride in our role in creating more language advocates.
For 50 years, Concordia Language Villages, in the beautiful North Woods of Minnesota, has been boldly and optimistically pursuing a vision of peace and understanding by introducing learners to the languages and cultures of our world.

Locations

Our culturally authentic, year-round sites for Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Russian and Spanish are on Turtle River Lake, near Bemidji, Minn. The Bemidji site also has a year-round office. Village Weekends, Adult and Family Programs, Teacher Seminars and Summer Youth Programs take place at Turtle River Lake in Bemidji, Minn.

Other sites leased by Concordia Language Villages, including additional sites for French and Spanish, are at lakeside camps and resorts located throughout Minnesota. These locations are used only for Summer Youth Villages.

We also offer English programs in Brazil, China, and Switzerland.

Our main administrative office is located on the campus of Concordia College, in Moorhead, Minn. Moorhead is a twin city to Fargo, N.D., located on the Red River of the North. Although no Villages are located in Moorhead, it is the home to our registration department as well as many administrative and support staff positions.
