INSTRUMENT CLASSES
Electric Guitar and Drum Classes: Sign Up Today!
In the new year, we are offering improved and expanded group music lessons in Drums and Electric Guitar for girls ages 8-18 at Willie Mae Music Lab. The program features small group lessons (4-6 students) for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced students, taught by accomplished teachers from the Rock Camp community. The 14-week program includes Instrument Loan, so you can practice at home in between lessons, and, of course, there'll be a big show at the end of the semester, as well as the half-way point. Come work on your musical skills, jam with other girls, and have a good time!
Winter/Spring Schedule
Classes are organized by musical experience level and age (school grade). Classes start the week of January 31 and run through the week of May 23 (14 weeks of classes) (no classes the weeks of February 14, February 21, and April 18). There will be 2 recitals during the course of the semester, which will feature performances by group lesson students and the ensemble. The mid-semester recital will be on March 31 and the final recital will be on May 26.

Tuition
Tuition for all lessons is on a sliding scale: $350 - $0 (14 sessions).

Registration
Lessons are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are open to girls ages 8 - 18. Placement in classes will be based on a brief skills assessment by the instructors.

Join a Band! NEW!!!
In the new year, we will be offering a new program for girls ages 11-18 who want to join a band! Participation in an ensemble is by application only. Students who are enrolled in Willie Mae Music Lab lessons and students who have attended Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls will be given preference. The band will rehearse on Friday afternoons with a Band Coach.

LADIES JAM
Ladies Jam is an informal jam session for women who play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards or vocals, and who want to practice their instruments while gaining experience playing with other musicians. Guided by a band coach (who provides instrument/amp set up, assistance on song structures, and general coaching), women of all levels of musical experience have the chance to practice familiar songs, learn new ones, hone their chops, trade tips, find possible band mates, and have fun playing music together.
For adult women, all levels of experience welcome. Instruments provided, or bring your own.
Come to as many or as few sessions as you want. Not drop-in — you must RSVP no later than Friday 5 p.m. of the week you want to attend. Limit to 2 drummers and 2 vocalists per session; first come, first served. If fewer than three people sign up any given week, the session will not take place.
