Who doesn't love an excuse to celebrate? The calendar is full of holidays you know and love. There's Groundhog Day, April Fool’s Day, Valentine's Day. But have you ever heard of Cellophane Tape Day? What about National Hug Your Cat Day? In this workshop students will create a calendar that includes a whole year of fun, interesting and just plain weird holidays and how to go about celebrating them!

Einstein's Playlist: Saving the World With Science

4 Sunday sessions: July 10, 17, 24, 31 (2011)
2-5pm
Taught by Bradley Kemp

Sometimes the best way to fix the world is to write a song about it. But what kind of songs would Einstein listen to as he thought of wacky inventions on how to fix all of the world problems? Make Einstein's playlist full of your songs - to inspire a genius to fix the world with scientific inventions that you get to make up!
Students are expected to attend all 4 sessions of this workshop.
Enrollment for summer workshops will be determined by LOTTERY. The lottery will be conducted on May 1st, and parents will be notified by email the week of May 2nd. Please visit our summer workshops page for more information.

Students are expected to attend all 8 sessions of this workshop. Filming may take place on additional dates and/or in separate locations. The final product will be screened at BAM, the evening of Tuesday, August 30th.
