LISTEN: Free Drama Exchange Workshop for girls ages 8-14 Join us on Saturday December 7th for a FREE workshop for girls! WHAT IS LISTEN? An exploration of what it means to be a girl in our community. It’s a place to express yourself, tell your story, play and have fun, and learn about girls across the globe. Includes creative movement, playmaking, research, meaningful discussion, crafting, and cross-cultural communication with students at an all-girls school in rural India. We finish with a performance written and performed by the girls in the class. When: Saturday December 7th 11am-4pm, Performance and party at 6pm Performance is $10 suggested donation. Includes snacks, raffle prizes, and artwork from participants in Brooklyn and India All proceeds will be split between The Other Side for continued programming and Pardada-Pardadi Educational Soceity, empowering girls through education in rural India.
