How to Get Ahead in the New Admissions Game: What Every High School Student and Parent Must Know About The Test Prep & College Admissions Process

An informal discussion led by Deena Maerowitz and Chris Ajemian
Thurs, May 20 @ 7:00pm at the YMCA Armory (361 15th Street)

Deena will discuss what characteristics colleges are looking for in applicants, timelines for junior and senior year, how students can best use their summer break, and provide specific insight from her admissions office experience. Chris will shed light how students can improve SAT scores before the Early Decision deadline, differences between the ACT and SAT -- including which one students should take, and the importance of the SAT subject tests.

Parents and students will have an opportunity to ask questions specific to their situation and to receive individualized feedback on how best to navigate the next steps of the test prep and college admissions process.
