Starting Artists Smackdown
Think art is not a spectator sport? Think again! Cheer on your favorite team as they compete in this live art competition to benefit SA's free Afterschool Program for teens. The Smackdown will also feature a silent auction, music food, and drink specials (21+).

Starting Artists Summer Program 2010
Get inspired, get creative, and get to work this summer at Starting Artists! Each of the 5 Summer Program weeks features a new, exciting theme which guides its lessons & activities. Fees include lunch every day, 4 field trips to cultural institutions throughout NYC, workshops with guest artists, access & guidance to all SA supplies including digital cameras, computer lab, and video cameras.
Dates: 5 weeks; 4 days each: July 12 - August 12
Time: 11am - 5pm
Fee: $150 per student, per week; some internships/ scholarships available
Ages: Middle & high school students, ages 12-19
