Cornell University Summer College Programs for High School Students
Learn all about horse care in new Equine Practice program
Application deadline for most programs is May 3
If you love horses and would like to learn what makes them tick, then apply today to Equine Practice: A Veterinary Perspective (June 22-July 13), a new hands-on, three-credit program open to high school juniors and seniors.

In morning lectures and afternoon labs, you'll study equine anatomy and physiology and learn how to keep a horse healthy, from managing its illnesses and administering first aid to breeding and foal care.

In addition, Summer College offers three other veterinary medicine or animal science options from July 14 to August 3, with which Equine Practice can be combined for a six-week, six-credit program: For more information and to apply, visit www.summercollege.cornell.edu, e-mailsummer_college@cornell.edu, or call 607.255.6203.
